Colgate Dorr (1920-2006) graduated from Standford University in 1941. According to an obituary from the Stanford Alumni Association, "He was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity. He served for 32 years as an intelligence officer in the Army. Upon retirement he became active in various organizations, including serving on the board for Hopkins Marine Station. He received a 15-year service pin from the Stanford Alumni Association in 1995. His son, Peter, died in 2005. Survivors: his wife, Kathleen "Kay" (Jacobson, '41); one daughter, Kathy Maser; three grandchildren; and a brother, Charles, '48."
