- There's stuff in G. Walter Mapp's papers about prohibition.
- Ditto Schuyler Otis Bland's papers.
- The Anti-Saloon League records do not appear to have anything specific to Williamsburg, although they might be worth looking at, and some of the questionnaires and correspondence could be from Williamsburg.
- There is also an essay by Julia Oxreider on the Woman's Christian Temperance Union movement, including in Williamsburg. (Mss. Acc. 1995-15-2)
- There is also material from the Virginia Association for Local Self-Government which includes printed broadsides, pamphlets and newspapers against statewide prohibition. (Mss. Acc. 2004.13)
- Office of the President, Julian A.C. Chandler Records. See the PDF of the box list available in the finding aid. There are references in the collection to student drinking and it was handled. He was president from 1919-1934.
- There is probably also material in John Garland Pollard's papers, but it may not be specific to Williamsburg.
- Henry "Doc" Billups, Faculty-Alumni File Collection; Billups was noted for securing alcohol for students
