Theta Delta Chi, the eleventh oldest of the U.S. college fraternities, was founded in 1847 at Union College in Schenectady, New York by six members of the class of 1849. The fraternity's second chapter was established at William & Mary in 1853.1 2

The Dave Matthews Band performed at an event sponsored by Theta Delta Chi and Sigma Nu in 1993. A flier is available in the fraternity's records in Swem Library's Special Collections Research Center.

"Theta Delta Chi International fraternity revoked the charter of the Epsilon Charge at the College of William & Mary in May" 2012.3
